Description: | Most of nozzle, discus and front part of wall missing. Part of one of nozzle volutes remains. On the discus, which is outlined by careful mouldings trace of a gladitorial combat in relief: helmetted head and arm with weapon, and left foot of a man facing to left. Broad low foot ring. Orange-brown glaze, mostly gone, outside and over most of inside. Fine pale clay, slightly micaceous. Type XXIII of Corinth collection. | |
