Herringbone on rim, rosette with crimped petals on discus. Solid handle with three grooves in front, two behind. Double concentric circles on reverse, enclosing "alpha".
Thin purplish glaze.
Light red clay.
Type XXVIII of Corinth collection.
Context:   Late Roman fill with coins for the day, nos. 25-62, and many sherds of same epoch.
