Cross bar and two small circles at base of nozzle.
Solid handle, with triple groove above and below.
On reverse, within two grooved circles, four stamped circlets.
Red-brown wash.
Dark red clay.
Type XXVIII of Corinth collection.
Context:   Burnt layer, ca 0.60m. above bedding for south foundation of "Royal Stoa". The lamps L 955-L 965 were found lying close together in the loose earth. Other lamps from the same deposit were found in 1931 in section A (cf. notebook of section A, p. 125).
