Title:   Black Glaze Skyphos: Corinthian Type

Description:   Mended from two pieces; one handle and a bit of the rim restored in plaster. Straight handles, near rim. The top of the foot and the resting surface reserved; the underside decorated with concentric bands of glaze. The inside of the handles, and a band between the points of attachment on the body, also reserved.
Traces of a purple band painted over the black glaze at the line of the handles. Pinkish-buff clay. Thin glaze worn inside.
Corinthian Style.
