Clay red at core, buff on outside surface. Splash of brown substance, looks like vitreous glaze, possibly mastic(?).
ADDENDA Made up from sherds: about half of body and rim preserved; nothing of base remains. Small amphora with short wide neck and plain flaring lip. Lightly ridged handles on the shoulder.
