Title:   Chafing Dish
ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Σαλτσάριο 10ος - 11ος αι.

Description:   A small piece of the rim, parts of the base, and both handles, except for one lower attachment, missing. Deep inner bowl with moulded rim and flat bottom. High narrow base on concave foot, with a large rectangular opening on one side, and on the opposite side at least one small round hole. Two vertical handles attached at base of bowl and just above foot.
Brown glaze on inside of bowl; splashes of glaze and irregular gouges on outside.
Coarse red clay.
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Πύραυνος με καστανή εφυάλωση. Λείπουν τμήματα από το χείλος, τη βάση και οι δύο λαβές του ευρήματος.
Context:   Cistern.
