Title:   Plate with Glaze Decoration

Description:   Mended from many fragments; parts missing. Rather deep center inside. Underside, sides flare from base ring to downturned rim. Handles hollowed along outside by a broad groove. Black bands and rosettes decorate inside. Underside decorated with two broad bands of glaze, one just below rim, the other covering foot and area just above it. Handles black save for narrow band along inside.
Clay pinkish-buff, rather dark. Glaze on underside thin, brownish.
