Title:   Red Figure Column Krater

Description:   Fragments missing from body; restored in plaster. Foot in two degrees.
A) On neck, lotus bud band. A youth, wreathed, and with a short cloak hanging over his shoulders, moves right, playing the double flutes.
B) Neck, plain. Nude youth right, a discus held in his outstretched hands.
Relief contour on A, throughout except for front outline of lower right leg; on B, for profile and nape only, and for forward half of discus. A faded color (red?) for the wreath on A. Traces of added paint around outside edge of lip and handle, and probably inside edge of lip; possibly two, at least one, paint line all around under the figure zone; painted line over rays.
