Description: | Three non-joining pieces, two from the bowl and one from the stand. Open bowl with flat-topped rim thickened outside and neatly ridged. On the outer wall, traces of the attachment of the feet of the stand, like those of a tripod pyxis. A scraped line just below the rim outside. The stand fragment is thickened at the bottom and ridged, like the rim, outside. Good black glaze; decoration in added purple; ridged outer faces of rim and foot; inside three fine lines just below the lip, and pairs of lines on wall and floor, around a central dot. | |
