Title:   Bowl with Paint Decoration

Description:   About one-fourth preserved; the foot missing; one fragment does not join. Moderately deep bowl with flaring wall and narrow flat projecting rim. A groove just inside the rim, and another lower down, setting off the central medallion. Undecorated outside. Inside covered with white slip. Between rim and medallion, a band whose decoration has peeled, bordered by rows of chevrons in black. In medallion, overlapping petals outlined with thinned clay, painted black, and filled in with pink.
