Title:   Pyxis Lid: West Slope

Description:   Largely restored in plaster. High convex top separated by flange from side. Grooves just below rim, on underside of flange and at top and bottom of side wall.
Decoration in thinned clay and white: on sides, conventionalized leaves and dots; on underside of flange, diagonal lines; on rim, debased grape vine. Inside and out covered with black to dark red glaze which has flaked badly.
