Title:   Amphora Fragment with Dipinto

Description:   Neck, mouth, much of shoulder and both handles preserved. Small amphora with short neck and thick flaring rim. Handles from middle of neck to shoulder. The wheel grooves below handle attachments.
Letters in dull red on shoulder: <graphic>
Smooth light red to buff clay, unglazed.
Notes:   Previously North Basement-Jar Fragments, Block X (late 3rd.-5th. c. A.D.).
Context:   Under south wall of room IV. Late Roman fill (late 4th.-5th c. A.D.).
