Title:   Bowl Fragment with Relief Decoration

Description:   Piece of lower part of almost straight side wall; outer edge of flat bottom preserved. On main zone, two riders facing each other; of left figure, horse's legs and tail, leg and bit of tunic of rider preserved; of right figure, leg of rider and front leg of horse preserved. Background covered with wavy lines. Below main zone, a row of disks enclosed between horizontal ridges.
Reddish-buff clay. Poor metallic red glaze on outside, thinner glaze on inside.

Context:   Late Roman destruction debris, context of 6th c. A.D. (7th c. A.D. reuse?).
