Title:   Bowl Fragments: Gray Ware

Description:   Part of rim, about three-quarters of the circumference of the bowl and a non-joining base preserved. Restored in plaster. Large deep open bowl, the walls drawn in at the top, the rim sharply convex and flaring, grooved along the top and the face. Two small horizontal handles set on shoulder and bent up against rim. High ring base, moulded above.
Soft gray clay. Covered with black glaze that has flaked badly.
Context:   Cistern, middle fill.
