Description:   Two fragments of rim and part of the edge of the vertical flange missing from lid with high central handle. Restored in plaster. Domed lid, finished on top with a high pear-shaped knob, hollow inside. A ridge around the top of the lid. Projecting rim, turned slightly up. Beneath, set back from the rim, a short vertical flange. Traces of white ground, with pink paint over, on the top; red on the flange.
Reddish-buff clay, light buff surface.
Context:   Cistern, middle fill.
