Description: | From a small choe: a) Two joining fragments preserving part of upper wall and neck. b) Wall fragment. Preserved of the scene is the partly draped figure of a girl, seated right, driving by a dog in a covered cart. The tail of the dog appears in front of her; further in front, the head of the dog in relief contours is preserved. Above on the neck, three dots of raised clay. Behind the girl, the head of a boy looking left. Fragment b) may belong to this figure; part of a nude youth moving right, a cloak over his left shoulder and something held in his upraised right hand. Firm white, with yellow over-painting, for the girl's flesh and the tail; added clay for the fillets of both figures. No relief contour; good glaze. | |
