Title:   Red Figure Column Krater Fragment

Description:   Part of the shoulder preserved. Band of black glaze tongues at top of shoulder; band of leaves as frame at right; head, shoulders and one arm of bearded, partly draped, figure facing left, clasping something in his outstretched right hand; a curved reserved line, next to the break at the left, suggests the head of a second figure facing him.
Inside, trace of black glaze on start of neck; thin brown glaze at lower edge of fragment.
ADDENDA Purple painted wreath on head (LB). Komos scene. Head, shoulder and r. hand of man holding stick; outline of the head of a second figure.
Context:   Well, upper fill.
