Title:   Black Glaze Louterion

Description:   Two non-joining fragments from rim and floor. Shallow basin with broad rim flat on top and with a deep overhang; the vertical face ornamented with six horizontal ridges. Around the outer edge of the rim, on top, a broad red band; traces of red and of black on the vertical face in the grooves.
Coarse pinkish clay with many large grits; heavier within than without, around the rim and upper wall; toward the center very thin; the surface gritty.
Context:   Well near middle of Tholos, upper fill, ca. 480-470 B.C.
