Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Neck and shoulder missing and fragments from walls. Cylinder-lekythos on disk foot, in two degrees. The foot black on top; side and bottom reserved, with a glaze band around the lower edge. Three reserved bands below figure-zone; above, a band of black and white dots between pairs of lines. On a black ground-line, quadriga right; in front, draped female figure, right, looking back left; behind the horses a second draped figure. In the chariot, two draped figures, one of them female. White on one horse, the flesh of the female figures, the undergarment and the fillet of the figure behind the horses and details of the harness. Red for bands on garments and for dots on the white undergarment; also for manes, a tail and a collar.
Context:   Well near middle of Tholos.
