Title:   Black Figure Stand

Description:   A few small bits missing. Tall conical stand, with projecting rounded lower edge, preserved above the point at which the vase it supported was attached. Black around bottom and a band of added red. Four bands of animals. From the bottom: 1) geese, feeding right; 2) a boar, two panthers, two goats and an eagle; 3) two cocks confronted across a lotus palmette motif, buds over their backs; two sphinxes, a panther, a boar and a swan; 4) two lions confronted, but looking back; two goats and a goose.
Incised rosettes in field. Free use of added red and white.
