Title:   Black Glaze Lekane

Description:   Small fragments of rim and wall missing. Broad echinus foot; deep body, walls rounded, then nearly vertical; thick rolled rim; horizontal handles set below rim and somewhat uptilted. Small unbridged spout, with flat-topped rim.
Dull black glaze inside, on rim, on handles, and on foot, considerably worn. On body outside, thin glaze wash, mostly worn off, and a brown band below the handles. Soft buff clay.
Context:   Well 2, containers 16-19, bottom fill, POU, ca. 525-500 B.C.
