Title:   Black Figure Miniature Hydria

Description:   Partly preserved, from bottom to lower handle attachments. High flaring base ring; bottom of vertical handle and rising edge for horizontal handle at right preserved on line of break at top; elongated eggy body. Tongues, alternating black and red, on base ring. Rays at bottom of side. Above, a band of linked pendent lotuses, then a band with figures: at left of vertical handle two legs (horse?) with a hand holding a staff; large kantharos under vertical handle; at right a warrior facing left with circular shield and probably spear in upraised hand; top of head and of face missing; behind him, under end of horizontal handle, a figure reclining on a couch, with small table underneath it.
Liberal use of white and red; a little coarse incision.
