Title:   Black Glaze Plate: Type A

Description:   Mended from many pieces. About one-quarter of the rim and large pieces of the inside missing; restored in plaster. Broad round rim; flat bottom rising slightly at the sides to meet the rim which is offset from it. A band reserved below the offset line and the center with a glazed circle. The underside unglazed; low ring base with a groove down the middle. The rim flat beneath. In the rim a single suspension hole.
Thin metallic glaze, much peeled.
