Title:   Black Glaze Oinochoe or Amphora Fragment

Description:   Fragment from neck(?) of a large amphora(?). Above what seems to be start of shoulder, "neck" is circled by a heavy, bold, collar-like moulding, this again surmounted by a heavy torus. Upper incurve of torus has been broken off and reworked in antiquity.
Gritty orange-pink clay; gray at core, micaceous; thin red wash outside.
