Description: | Much of walls, most of handle with upper attachment missing; restored in plaster. Base and body do not actually join, but profile certain. Squat high-shouldered body; low flaring echinus foot; broad low neck slightly concave; round mouth with narrow horizontal rim. Double handle. Reserved: underside and edge of foot, top of rim. Traces of two purple lines around outer face of lip and also on inside of neck(?). Fine buff clay slightly pinkish; good black glaze outside and on inside of neck. | |
