Title:   Black Figure Hydria

Description:   Missing over half of upper body with all of neck and mouth, most of figured panel, vertical and one horizontal handle. Low flaring foot; low rounded shoulder, body sharply drawn in toward foot; small thick handle. Attachments for missing handles are partly preserved. In upper right corner of panel on shoulder and upper body are preserved what seem to be parts of three tentacles of an octopus. A single band of applied color (purple?) circles body at bottom of panel. Underside of foot reserved.
Fine pinkish-buff clay; black glaze in part fired red.
Context:   Well I, lower fill.
