Description: | One handle, fragments of wall, and over one half of foot missing; restored in plaster. Small, fairly high flaring foot ring; ovoid body, short neck, heavy rolled rim; short rolled handles, shoulder to mid-neck. Pinkish-buff clay; fair black glaze, partly fired red; underside of foot reserved. Purple for a pair of horizontal bands just below handles, and a single band at top of handles; also for a band on top of lip. | |
