Title:   Black Figure Cup: Type C

Description:   Mended from six pieces; part of the slightly offset rim preserved; no part of the handles; the base complete. Restored in plaster. Shape and decoration similar to P 1377, but without incision or accessory color. Two circles round a dot on the center inside.
ADDENDA P 1377: Decoration similar to P 1371, but with black dots within the interlacing lines, and dots of white(?) and accessory red on the palmettes.
ADDENDA P 1371: Reserved, outside: handle zone, top of stem underneath, the resting surface and outer edge of foot, narrow band below handle zone; inside: a line just within the edge of the rim, the center with small glazed circle. Handle zone decorated with palmettes.
Context:   Rectangular rockcut shaft.
