Description: | Many wall fragments, part of rim and of one handle missing; restored in plaster without stem. One of the handles and the stem were broken in antiquity and mended with lead rivets. A purple band, set off by an incised line, around top of stem. b) From the stem of a similar but not the same cup, mended in the same way in antiquity. Moulded ring around top of stem, purple, set off by two incised lines. Excellent glaze. | |
