Title:   Black Glaze Plate Fragment

Description:   Six joining fragments preserve more than one-quarter of the rim circumference and less than a quarter of the low base ring (which is divided nearly into two by a deep groove through its center. Outside, s-curved; inside, flat bottom from which the flaring rim is offset. Near the edge of the rim, two holes for suspension.
The outside unglazed, polished; the inside glazed, grayed in firing. Two reserved bands on the rim, the outer one in a shallow wheel-run groove and a third, narrower, at the junction of rim and center.
