Category: | Pottery | |
Description: | Six fragments preserve part of the figured zone depicting most of the lower part of a maenad and the back of the head, shoulders and beard of Dionysos. He holds a drinking horn in his outstretched left hand, but looks back over his shoulder towards the maenad who dances away from him. Incision for interior details; both red and white dots on the girl's dress; white also for her flesh, for a stripe on Dionysos' himation and for some of the fruit on the vine filling ornament.
