Title:   Black Figure Chalice Fragment

Description:   Fragment of a krater with narrow projecting rim; glazed inside. On the vertical face of the rim X's in red glaze; on the wall, below the rim, alternating black and purple tongues. Preserved below, three heads right. To the right, a bearded man and a woman, her veil held out in front of her (?). Behind them part of the head of a second woman.
Red for the man's beard and hair and for a band on the hair of the second woman; white for the women's flesh. Glaze inside red, streaked with black; top of rim reserved. Careful incision.
