Title:   Red Figure Cup Fragment: Type B

Description:   On the inside, head of wreathed youth right; the surface chipped across the boy's face and neck. His left shoulder is preserved with the folds of a chlamys fastened in front. Round his head a wreath consisting of a band from which rises three flame-like leaves. Curls in dilute glaze round his face and in scalloped reserved hair line. Relief contours for profile and shoulder and relief lines for wreath, ear and drapery. Three dots and the stain from an added color on the hair. To the upper right edge of the fragment part of another object or figure (a hand?). On the outside, above three narrow reserved bands, the bottom of a scene with part of two feet.
Heavy glaze with metallic splotches.
