Description: | Fragment from shoulder of closed pot. Near break at top, a horizontal black line, probably bottom of ornamented band at top of shoulder. Half of a neat hole pierced through clay at left edge of this line. Below, part of two figures: at right, a draped figure facing right, face and feet missing, a cape painted in red about shoulders and torso, black drapery below; of figure at left, only part of red cape preserved, he probably faces left. From a stick across shoulders of the figure at left hangs a fox, fastened by his front legs. Incision used for detail; no visible traces of white. | |
