Description: | Black glaze fragment with two edges preserved, both circular, as if from a disk with a hole in the middle. Two-thirds of the surface towards the center slopes towards the rim and is irregularly grooved; the rim is flat anad flares slightly. The brush marks are very prominent and the color of the clay shows through. Both the rim and the inner surface are inscribed: <graphic> Attic clay. | |
