Description:   Two joining fragments preserve part of the spreading foot, a good deal of the body and some of the flaring rim of a Samian B bowl. Restored in plaster. Rather deep bowl with S-profile; lip has vertical outer face, slightly undercut. A "star" stamped at center, around it concentric grooves; one groove around wall above.
Light orange-red clay; flaky red glaze.
Context:   Cistern mouth and upper passage, container 1.
