Title:   Bowl: West Slope

Description:   Several joining fragments preserve nearly two-thirds of the foot and part of the wall, nothing of the rim. High ring foot, flaring walls. Decoration in thinned clay paint and white, with incision: eight-pointed star of alternate white and buff rays. On outside, a twining ivy garland with leaves and berries.
Buff clay; dull black glaze inside and out; a scraped groove around the resting surface, and two partly scraped grooves around wall just above foot.
Context:   Unfinished well.
