Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Mended from several pieces; complete save for small scraps of wall and chips from lip. Plump-bodied shoulder lekythos with small deep echinus mouth and flaring ring foot. On shoulder, ring of five rough ivy leaves. On body, nude figure running left, standing draped figure to either side; fillet hanging from shoulder line. Lip, outside of handle, lower part of body and top of foot glazed. Purple: ring around neck; hair of all three figures; and drapery ends. Glaze rather thin, worn on handle and mouth.
