Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Mended from several pieces; chips missing.
Shoulder lekythos with shallow spreading foot and flaring lip. On shoulder blobby cock to left; leaf at either side. On body draped figure seated on a folding stool, right, and nude figure also right, looking back left. At either side, a standing draped figure, facing in. Lip, outside of handles, lower body, and top of foot glazed.
Added purple: a band over the black band at junction of shoulder and wall; the hair of the seated figure, and large dots on his drapery; the fillets on the figures to right and left of him, and a drapery end on the latter.
Glaze very badly peeled.
Context:   Sacrificial pit = Grave 20.
