Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Intact except for chips and a hole cut through the bottom. Elongated egg-shaped body, wider below than above; broad flaring ring foot; short neck with a raised band around it; echinus mouth. Broad band handle, from neck. Lip, neck, handle, lower wall and upper surface of foot glazed. Around the shoulder, deep zone of linked lotuses; on the wall, a siren, standing looking right, between two lions, and beneath the handle a swan. Uncertain remains of added color on the creatures, and for bands below figured zone and on lip.
Glaze grayed and somewhat worn.
