Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Mended from many fragments; neck missing and much of wall; all much burned and worn. Restored in plaster. Shoulder lekythos with spreading foot; very broad body. Top of foot, lower wall and handles glazed. On the shoulder, a sphinx, right, between two draped standing figures. On the wall, a seated figure, right, between two standing figures, one male and one female. White for the woman's flesh and for wavy line on garment of left hand figure on nozzle; traces of added red for garments.
