Description: | Numerous fragments preserve part of wall to full height and the adjoining floor to its full width(?); at one end, the wall preserves the beginning of the curve that marked the end of the tub. Flat floor, vertical wall, rounded rim thickened somewhat on exterior. Incised on rim: M I Pinkish-buff clay, coarse, with few bits, apparently mixed with straw. Black glaze, somewhat worn, on interior and rim. Fragments of similar tubs in tins 505, 506. | |
