Title:   Red Figure Krater Fragment with Plastic Attachment
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Fragment broken all around, from wall of large open vase, perhaps a calyx krater. Shiny black inside. Draped figure dancing right, preserved from waist to middle of lower legs, probably a maenad; the object hanging at the left would then be the end of her nebris; a little brown glaze along the break at the upper left, across the drapery, might be its lower edge.
Attached to the pot, before the figure was drawn, is a curved object, somewhat suggsting a horn, in high relief, crossing the figure's legs, but apparently unrelated to it.
Relief contour throughout. Note reserved areas along break at upper and lower right.
