Title:   Plate Fragment with Rouletting

Description:   Two joining fragments of floor and foot of Pergamene plate, broken all around. From large flat-floored plate with heavy ring foot and recessed base. Floor thickened on underside toward foot. Inside, over position of foot, two groups of rouletted bands set close together. Trace of a kiln-support in an identation over the outer rouletted bands.
Pinkish-buff clay; firm solid texture; light reddish-brown glaze with faint sheen.
