Description: | Mended from several pieces; much of rim and body missing. Shape as P 16223 (ΕΕ 399), but rim more sharply out-turned; ivy garland with yellow stems and leaves and white berries around inside of body. Floor: eight-pointed yellow star. Three scraped grooves below the lip inside, and another around the star. Exterior: two grooves at base, one at middle of body, two at lip. Black glaze, rather dull. ADDENDA P 16223: Hemispherical bowl with slightly out-turned lip and small concave bottom. | |
