Description: | Two non-joining fragments of a large closed pot, possibly an amphora(?). Fragment a) preserves the head and some of the body of a lion who is biting the hindquarters of a large animal. Red for: the lion's neck and strokes on his flank; for a stroke on the rump of the animal and for blood flowing from the bite; also for a line partly preserved at top of fragment. White for: the lion's teeth, the two outer ones outlined with incision; perhaps also some white on the animal's body. Fragment b) preserves some of the hindquarters of an animal with a white belly-stripe and a red stripe on the rump; and part of the breast (white), wing and hair of a Siren. Interior unglazed.
