Description: | A few fragments missing from body. Medium-sized body set on narrow ring foot. Body, shoulder and neck form continuous curve. Neck flares slightly; its top surface is deeply grooved (to aid in sealing the jar?). Round vertical handles, slightly grooved, from shoulder to middle of neck. Two grooves around neck at handle attachment. Coarse greenish-gray clay with bits. The interior is coated with pitch. | |
