Title:   Molded Pot Fragment

Description:   Single fragment broken all around. From upper wall of a handmade or moldmade pot, a part of the plain flaring neck and rim preserved. The wall as preserved has a convex curve; the piece may be from a small open mug. The interior is roughly finished by hand. The exterior is decorated by close-set horizontal rows of roughly semi-lunar depressions which were made either in a mold or, more probably, with a rough punch. A vertical ridge marks the point at which the two halves of the mold came together(?).
