Description: | About one-third of the rim and wall missing; restored in plaster. Small roughly made straight-sided ring foot; flaring walls rounding in towards the top and finished with a flat lip which projects slightly towards the outside and slopes down rather sharply towards the inside. Stubby handle set at rim and slightly up-tilted. Hard light red clay, moderately fine. Thick dull glaze wash, red to black inside and out, carelessly applied outside so that it does not reach to the foot evenly all around. A coarse version of the conventional one-handler; cf.
