Title:   Black Figure Lekythos Fragment

Description:   Two joining fragments preserve some of shoulder and upper part of body. At left of fragment, Athena advancing right and looking back holds out her helmet in left hand extended behind a Doric column. White for flesh and dots on aegis and crest of helmet. Red fillet. At right, head of Hermes, left. Red beard. Shoulder: lotus buds.
Context:   Excavation for cellar fo house at No. 110 Hermes Street; trench for cellar wall.
